In Memory of Sushant Saurav
Sushant Teacher’s Training College is named in the loving memory of Mr. Sushant Saurav, a promising young student of Vikas Vidyalaya, Ranchi, who belonged to the local community.
From an early age, Sushant possessed a deep concern for society and a strong desire to see education reach those who needed it most.
He believed that education could enable children to become independent, confident and self-reliant, and he dreamed of contributing towards the education and upliftment of children in society.
His aspiration was simple, yet powerful:
“To educate children and help them become independent and self-sufficient.”
Unfortunately, destiny did not allow him the opportunity to fulfil this dream himself.
But the dream did not end with him.
From a Dream to a Mission

The loss of Sushant Saurav left behind not only cherished memories but also an unfinished aspiration.
Determined to give meaningful expression to his vision, his family chose education as the way to carry his dream forward.
What began as the dream of a young mind gradually became a larger educational mission — to create opportunities for students, particularly those from rural and economically disadvantaged backgrounds, and to enable them to build better futures through education.
Thus, an individual dream began its journey towards becoming an enduring educational legacy.
The Beginning of Sushant Teacher’s Training College
Preparing Teachers to Educate Generations
As the educational mission grew, the importance of preparing capable and committed teachers became increasingly significant.
A good teacher does not influence only one student. Over the course of a career, a teacher can educate and inspire generations of learners.
With this philosophy, Sushant Teacher’s Training College was established in 2016 under the aegis of Onkar Educational Trust, Nunfara, Muzaffarpur.
The institution was established with a commitment to provide professional teacher education and prepare educators equipped with knowledge, practical teaching skills, ethical values and a sense of social responsibility.
The college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education – Eastern Regional Committee (NCTE–ERC) and conducts teacher-education programmes affiliated with B.R.A.B.U., Muzaffarpur and B.S.E.B., Patna.
